Fresh out of Cal in 1988, John started his career in advertising sales. After working with a couple of local magazines, he found his way into printing in 1991 and never left. He and Richard started The Graphics Resource in 1999. John likes the idea that every printing project is unique and he is very excited about the aggressive “greening” of the printing industry.
Raised in Oakland, John now lives in Lafayette with his wife Meg and their 3 children - Kate, Lucy and Reid
In his spare time, John enjoys painting and any outdoor activities with his family. He is especially fond of skiing, flyfishing, camping and hiking with the family lab - Jet. |

A 1982 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, California native Richard has been buying or selling printing for over 24 years. With business partner John, Richard enjoys taking a hands-on approach to every job, and prides himself on finding creative solutions to any production challenge. A commitment to finding newer, environmentally responsible print solutions has become Richard’s passion.
A south bay native now living in San Mateo, Richard is married to Eva and has two college-aged daughters, Kimi and Hannah.
Even with two creaky knees, Richard still enjoys running, biking and all outdoor activities. |
